'The Insect Oasis' is a fictious organisation with the aim to improve living conditions of insects in urban areas. In an effort to improve diversity and sustain the ecosystem 'Insektoasen' has made a game to promote and spark interest in the wonderous tiny world of insects all around us.

This project was made for the DMJX Interactive Design 2. year exam.

'Know Your Bugs' is a game where the aim is to guess the weird names of many Danish insects. In doing so you gain access to fun facts about the insects and how to better their condition. 

Imago Display is a font I drew for this project. It uses rounded inner corners to give a feeling of being inside the micro world of insects. It is straightforward in its geometric construction, yet unique and recognisable at every size.

The logo is construction from the simple idea of merging insect with oasis. The insect part being a dragonfly and the oasis part being a palm tree.

The game is a progressive web app coded in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The algorithm can take a text string like the one below and convert it into an anagram puzzle for the player to solve. 

The visual style uses the trendy neubrutalistic style with flat, clear colors, rounded corners and thick borders. The buttons are very clickable making the user want to interact and play along.
